“Is your energy contained and accessible for all you need to do or is it dispersed like dandelion seeds tossed around by the wind?”
Fatigue is the result of our energy scattering and dispersing like dandelion seeds in the wind. There are many causes of fatigue such as a health condition, sleeplessness, stress, demanding work hours or shifts, change of season, time of life or weather. When fatigue sets in, it kicks up a cycle that often accelerates the problem.
A calibrated and individualized yoga practice can improve and steady energy, daily-life functioning and sleep as well as manage fatigue through the day.
Join this workshop to learn more about:
- A Vedic model of human energy and how to adapt yoga practice to manage fatigue
- The cycle of fatigue and how to disrupt it
- How to calibrate your yoga practice based on your setting, level of fatigue and time of day
Experience 4 different mini practices that illustrate techniques that you can try at home or the office. Explore sankalpa (intention-setting), breath-centered asana, breath adaptation in asana and accessible pranayama techniques applied for fatigue. This workshop is accessible for beginners while helping experienced practitioners refine their ideas about how to practice managing fatigue.
