Yonat’s study of yoga and meditation began 20 years ago and continued through extensive travels in India as well as across the US. She has studied and been influenced by Iyengar’s hatha yoga, Power Vinyasa, Anusara, Yin and Parayoga as well as Vipassana meditation. She earned a master’s degree in Somatic Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies in 2011.

The expressive arts and therapeutic practices she has learned through the years are deeply personal. Over time they have become core principles in her own practice as a psychotherapist, mother, human being and teacher in her own right.

In her classes she integrates a trauma-informed, holistic approach to wellness that is inspired by her reverence for ancient traditions and the anatomy of the physical, emotional and energetic bodies. Read more about her work at www.somasoulcare.com
