I am humbled and honored to be a student and teacher of yoga – sharing yoga tools that are accessible and customized to every individual. ”

Classes are offered at 5 Koshas Yoga and Wellness, online and hybrid options + 5-day video recording of class

Private sessions for individuals or small groups are offered In-Studio at 5 Koshas or online and on-site

Intentions and Teaching Style

My Intention is to provide a welcoming space for individuals to begin from ‘where they are at’ to practice and refine yoga tools for use on and off the mat.

Movement, breathing and meditation practices support the ability to live with awareness and intention. These invite individuals to be curious and empowered as they develop a sense of embodiment that can support body, nervous system, mind and heart with:

  • Activities of daily living
  • Improving balance
  • Recovering from rigorous exercise (running, biking, lifting)
  • Increasing energy for hobbies (hiking, crafting, music, cooking, keeping up with kids and pets)
  • Healing from injury, post-operative procedures and conditions that create a shift in life’s routine
  • Self-reflection and self-care to navigate each day

The more I learn, practice and teach, the more I appreciate the gift of small movements to big movements, a light sense of humor, the importance of human connection and the power of quiet and stillness. I am continually amazed at the ‘free of charge’ tool of breathing and breathing techniques.

With this ongoing practice of movement, breathing and deepening awareness to support every season of life, it is an honor to guide students to trust and respect themselves within the exploration of their practice. This creates a solid foundation for continued growth on the mat and in life, nurturing an individual’s passion and purpose.

  • Continued Education and Practice with Gary Kraftsow and the American Viniyoga Institute AVI – studying Structural Health of low back, hips and upper back, neck and shoulders, in addition to Physiological Health, strategies for stress management, fatigue and sleeplessness
  • Master’s Degree, Education
  • Student of Leslie Kaminoff, founder of the Breathing Project, Advanced Studies in Anatomy and Movement
  • Currently Pilates Teacher-in-Training with Balanced Body & Studio B Pilates – studying anatomy, movement principles, Pilates mat 1, 2 & 3 and Pilates reformer 1, 2 & 3
