“I started practicing yoga 8 years ago as a form of exercise, not realizing all of the benefits of yoga at the time. Yoga has been right for me. I want to help people learn and experience the benefits of yoga that I have experienced. Learn how simple postures and breath practices can have great benefits. Experience how using yoga postures can improve strength and develop better balance. And know that practicing yoga with breath awareness can be used as a stress relief tool. This is your beginning!”

Intentions

My aim is to provide a gentle and supportive environment in which students feel comfortable learning yoga. We will focus on foundational postures that can be adapted to the individual, along with learning the benefits gained from the practice. Moving with your breath focuses you to slow down and be mindful in your practice. There is no judgment, no competition. I have been a nurse for 40+ years and have a caring and kind persona. I want to help people to explore how yoga can make a difference in their lives.

When Sally is not teaching yoga or working as a nurse, she enjoys hiking, camping, and canoeing in summer and snowshoeing in the winter. She likes to be out in nature and calls it her vitamin-N.
